Ok-- March 7, 2004-- I believe all the info below to be finished projects and but I will leave the links up just in case-- but I NEED YOU NOW!! If ya haven't, read about my Old SchoolBikers.com documentary thang I'm working on.. I gotta rewrite the intro explain but like a main part of it I envision being the remarkable hello letters you folks have wrote me through the years.. and your thoughts on now.. and tributes.. and stories from the life.. I wont go all into it now, but ya know what I am after. I hope to hear from yas! I have seen some of whats been done lately on Bikers lately and I dunno.. I got my own ideas.. write me! I often get emails from publishers wanting Biker Stories, poems, photos, recipes, etc. for upcoming Books or Promotions. I know from other websites I have visited that we have many creative Folk within our masses! Here I hope to provide links for us and them to connect. Note- Some are exclusive, so dont give your best pic/story to just anyone AND they might pay you AND some may have already closed for publication ! ASK FIRST! Good Luck!

Here's What the Lady-in-Charge Wrote-> Yes, I ride my own. I'm a pro writer/author and I'm collecting stories for "Chicken Soup for the Biker's Soul" as requested by Jack Canfield. If you have a good story to tell, I'm all ears.... (also cartoons and poems!)

If your story is selected you'll be paid and published in the book. Pretty cool, huh?! Please help spread the word! Let friends know that we need stories and please use my email address. I told Jack that we biker's have better stories than any other group of people, so let's prove it!

Once the proposal goes through, (I'm assuming it will!) I'll need to continue collecting stories so the book will be the best it can be! If you know any "celebs" and can get them to give you stories, and a way to contact them, that would be fantastic!!!

I'm looking for non-fiction (slight embellishments are O.K.) stories. They should be the type that really strike a chord with other biker's. Ones that will make ya cry, make ya laugh, or make ya say HOLY SHIT! Since I'm the editor, I don't mind helping anyone who has a good story, but just can't seem to get it out right.

Hello, I'm writing another book about ladies who ride Harley Davidsons and also one for ladies who are grandma's or over fifty and they can ride anything.. I was hoping you'd like to participate in the book and send me your riding experiences.

I am looking for stories about female empowerment and freedom on the open road. How does riding make you feel? Usually it's an empowering in some way. Does it make you feel sexy, beautiful, free? Tell me about an especially amazing or transforming ride that changed your life, made you see the world in a different way or simply was wild and fun beyond your wildest dreams.

Tell me about the people you met, how you felt, the scenery, the scents, how the bike handled. Tell me about your worst trip in the world, how you overcame adversity in your life because of the motorcycle. Tell me how the motorcycle brought out the best in you, your best kept secrets, evolved your soul, your body, your mind, your spirit.

why you chose to ride a Harley, any funny or interesting things that have happened to you along the way.. and about any tips you might have for other ladies who want to ride.. embarrasing times you may have had.. would love a few photos as well.. any solo trips you may have taken.. why harleys are different than other bikes and anything you feel other ladies would like to read about. Biker Humour, jokes, Safety tips.for the new rider out there..

some chapters are five pages long, and some are thirty pages so the length isn't what matters, the contents are what matters. Did you fall in love and have a cycle wedding.. any special places you find great riding .. or campgrounds, hotels that cater to those on two wheels.. Any tips on riding in the rain, or the hot weather..
